Where is Our Humanity?
Hello out there! its been a while since you heard from me. As we enter into ember months leading to the end of the year, I thouthgt you may want to read this. God bless you as you read.
On the 5th of November 2015 I was on my way to Warri in Delta State from the city of Benin, on reaching Ring Road where I was to board a bus to Warri; A busy place with so much people, transporters, and commuters travelling to different places; heading towards Bob Izua Park I saw a sight that caught my attention.
A man I spotted that could hardly get up! Nothing was left of him; he looked very sick and really needed help. From what I saw because I was not very far from him, urine was all over him, he defecated on his body with none to attend to him. People were walking passing him, whenever they come across him, they deviate and pass by the other side just like the proverbial story of the man that was attacked by bandits on his way to Jerusalem and the good Samaritan that Jesus gave. In the book of Luke 10:35.
On sighting that man, my heart went out to him but I was helpless! What should I do? What he needed at that time was not money; I could tell that even food could not help him much: He needed attention; he needed some love but could not find any in one of the busiest cities of Nigeria if you know Ring Road. I asked myself, where are these non - governmental organisations? Where are these people offering humanitarian services? Churches littered all over the place and Mosques, Preachers scattered all over the parks in a hurry to jump into any filled up bus to pray for the safety of the passengers and to later collect 'seed' and yet, this man was there with none to cater for.
The next day, 6th November 2015 early in the morning around 6 am there about, I was up again on my way to Warri. After arriving Ring Road, I decided to check the same spot where the man was. Guess what? I saw a sight that scared me! Right on that spot as early as 7am, there lies the man covered with clean white cloth. That couldn't have been him covering himself I said to myself because it was too clean to belong to him. I proceeded with my journey anyway, I boarded a bus to Warri as usual; about 30 minutes later our bus was filled up so we took off, and passing the area again, I noticed that the white cloth was still there and what baffled me most was the fact that people were passing the spot everybody going about their normal businesses as if nothing had happened there. Throughout my journey to Warri that day the thought of that man kept hunting me. I kept asking myself, what could have happened?
The following Day 7th of November 2015, I was there again at the same spot neither the man nor the white cloth not even his rags were there, the place was swept clean. What happened there? The man was already dead! I had mixed feelings and reactions within me towards the man.
First, the thought of Lazarus and the Richman came to my mind. Secondly, I said to myself he is better off dead than that kind of life. The only thing left is between him and his God.
Where is our Humanity?
Have we suddenly become callous? Have we lost our feelings for fellow human beings or what? Or is it the end times that is fast telling on us? All these questions we need to ponder on and answer ourselves. But no matter what happens, we must not lose our humanity. Reach out to somebody in love. A little can make a difference. Love would have kept that man alive but he got none and he died. Please, reach out to somebody in love. Remember, tomorrow it could be you.
Never lose your humanity no matter what.

Can This One Nigeria Still Work?
“The new nation called Nigeria
should be an estate of our great grandfather, Othman Danfodio. We must
ruthlessly prevent a change of power. We must use the minorities in the north
as willing tools and the south as conquered territories and never allow them to
rule over us or have control over their future. (Sir Ahmadu Bello October,
1960). Doesn’t this explain why there is so much aggression concerning GEJ’s
regime? Nigeria, Estate of their great grandfather? And they say we are on
Nigeria? I don’t think so, or what do you think?

RE: KWAMOTI LAORI, MURDER AND SUNDRY ISSUES
(In response to Maijama’a Adamu The Scope September 16th - 22nd, 2012)
By Caleb Zadok
07034655913,
08159086481.
When
I read the report of Mr. Maijama’a Adamu the Chief Press Secretary to the
Adamawa State Governor at first I felt reluctant to comment, but I later felt
it is high time to reply him. Let me just comment on some of the issues he
raised.
First
Maijama’a stated in his post thus, “I have read with deep regret the story of
the arrest of the Deputy Speaker, Adamawa State Assembly”
As
if he was not part of the game plan to arrest the Deputy speaker. Certainly
Maijama’a can never deny the fact that he was aware of the grand plan to arrest
the Deputy speaker following series of squabble or disagreement between the
speaker and him the governor and his vendetta against the Bwatiyes. He may lie
to the world but can never lie to his conscience.
Secondly,
Maijama’a further stated that, “While the police in no ambiguous term said that
the suspect arrest on murderous action confessed to being sponsored by Mr.
Laori”. What a confused and childish agent doing the government’s dirty job.
Such incompetence of a mouthpiece of the government. Everybody knows that when
you want to hang a dog, you give it a bad name. Police report couldn’t have
been relied on all because of a so-called report. Such a report shouldn’t have
been relied on all because of a so-called suspect mentioned the name of the
Hon. Deputy speaker. The police that I know as corrupt as they are could have taken
money from your master and boss and could possibly torture the suspect and
force out the name of Hon Kwamoti from his mouth in order to label him bad. If
so many people are insinuating especially those in Jos, Yobe, Maiduguri etc are
claiming that, those been arrested or even killed by the JTF are innocent
citizens, and I know that Maijama’a hold this same opinion, then what makes you
think that the suspect was not a victim of circumstance unjustly arrested? What
makes you think that the police report is not wrong considering the high level
corruption in the police force who are ready to do virtually anything for
money. I speak out of experience for I have seen a number of cases that the
police handled out of corruption, so many of them so what are we talking about?
This report shows how myopic and unreasonable you are and you in your report.
This shows what stuff the government is made of (Propaganda machine).
Also
note:- “One of such instances, out of desperate show of chauvinism, Mr. Laori
organized and partook in a press briefing organized by the Pene Da Bwatiye Cultural
Association at the NUJ Press Center Yola on the 13th May 2012 where
they declare thus, ‘since it is evident that the
Fulanis do not desire to live in peace with our people, and they connive with
their kith and kin to wage war, they should all leave our land forestall future
crisis between them and our people” in what terms do Maijama’a want the Pene Da
Bwatiye to put it? And who is Barr. Kwamoti representing, his people? Was he
not supposed to identify with his people or was he expecting him to desert his
people?
For God’s sake! This man represents
these people and his constituency was attacked and I guess Maijama’a and his
boss was expecting the Deputy speaker to go to him and celebrate the attack on
his people over a cup of coffee. He is wrong and the deputy speaker has not
done anything constitutionally wrong by identifying with his people and I stand
to be corrected; therefore, you have no moral right to question his association
with his people. May be I should tutor you on the word representative, the word
denotes delegate, spokesperson or ambassador; did you see that? So are you saying
that he has no right to represent his people? Mstcheew! No wonder the state is
in shambles!
Another issue raised is the issue of
‘Persona non grata’, may be Adamu has either forgotten or do not even know
probably because he gets the crumbs that falls from his master’s table that Governor
Murtala Nyako was the one that has declared his persona non grate against the
Bachama race (I really don’t want to give a low down here that would prove to
you because I know you are already blinded and basking in the euphoria of your
government, enjoy it while it lasts.
There are a lot of issues raised by
Maijama’a Adamu which I may not really go into, because I know there a lot of
people who will reply him in more intellectual way but he should know, the
Bachamas are peace loving people who accommodate visitors, give them land to
build houses, farm their crops and to the Fulani’s land for grazing; they have
been co-existing for many years though there have been conflicts here and
there, yet, they still co-habit with each other. A very big question that beg
for answer is, why now during Nyako’s administration that the matter escalated
to where it is today? It may interest you to know that, even yesterday, the 18th
of September 2012, the Fulani’s again attacked unsuspecting flood victims of
Bandawa who were taking shelter in a primary school, killed a young lady and injured
many. Did anybody look for their trouble? What brings them to Bachama land to
cause this aggression? All these questions are begging for answers: May be you
and your boss has answers which I know you do except if you will keep lying to
your conscience. The issue of bigotrism or chauvinism is certainly what Nyako
is exhibiting on us but guess what? WE
WILL SURVIVE. Following shooting and killing innocent people in both Mubi
and Yola, the governor quickly used the opportunity to enforce ban on motorcycle
use in some local governments including Numan where nothing has happened. This
is one among many. But Let it be known that we are a patient, peace loving
people, governments come and governments go. Nyako Murtala’s government no
matter how long will pass away. Only time will tell and if he thinks he is
hurting us, in the process, he will hurt himself.
In conclusion, the Adamu concluded his
message of calumny thus. “While we patiently
await the unfolding of due legal proceedings, we sincerely advise that
resorting to deliberate dishonesty and apportioning blames where they do not
belong it will serve no one any meaningful purpose”. Ah! What a contradiction.
Legal proceeding or not, no one is afraid of it especially when you know you
are not guilty. Legal? Oh! that
reminds me, I have said this, and I will keep on saying it until I see changes
in the judiciary, I HAVE LOST FAITH IN THE NIGERIAN JUDICIARY. Surely not after
what happened in the case of Adamawa
State when the mandate of
the majority of the people were forcefully snatched by the ruling party in
conjunction with the Judiciary. And without prejudice, the Nigerian judiciary
must apologize to Nigerians for that un-ethical act only then can we begin to
believe our judiciary but for now, it is only the executive at work I rest my
case.

THE CONDEMNATION OF BOMBINGS BY NORTHERN GOVS, ACF AND FG'S NEGOTIATION WITH BH
By:
Caleb Zadok
07034655913
The recent continuous bombings of churches targeted at
Christians by the ISLAMIC SECT tagged 'BOKO HARAM' leaves
one to wonder what is really going on in this nation. Most shocking is the
usual response of the so-called leaders of the nation Northern Governors'
Forum-NSGF, Arewa Consultative Forum-ACF) and their hypocritical condemnation
of the attacks. The most ridiculous one is the attempt by the federal
government to engage them in dialogue. All these issues are the reasons why I
want to painstakingly write on in order to clear my conscience.
Beginning from the Sunday multiple attacks in Kaduna and
Zaria respectively. I hate the hypocrisy of our leaders in respect to issues
like these. When the leader of the Islamist Sect popularly known as Boko Haram
came out openly and declared that they are out to impose shariah law in the
northern part of Nigeria, and that they are fighting against the government and
the Christians whom they call infidels, the So -called Northern governors did
not come out openly to condemn their comment, they did not think this act will
divide this nation; later, the same group gave ultimatum to all the Christians
in the north to leave to where only God knows, there were no condemnations why?
Because most of these leaders thought that what they could not do openly, this group
is out to achieve it for them. But when it turns out that there are reprisal
attacks, then came condemnations from all angles, suddenly, every body that
matters is lending a voice! Such I consider as hypocrisy of the highest order.
Don't misunderstand me, I condemn in totally the reprisal attacks
because God said vengeance is his. NO ONE I repeat NO ONE can
fight for God. Any God I have to fight for is not worthy of my allegiance. It
is therefore important for the Northern States Governors' Forum to understand
that if they can not come out in sincerity to fight this menace that is
bedeviling us in the north, we stand the chance of losing our already epileptic
economy. In infrastructures, we are backward, in other resources, we are
backward, in education, we are backward almost in everything we are backward
yet, the few resources we have, some of the leaders out there are sponsoring some
miscreants in the name of religion to destroy. Nigeria is a secular state and
must remain so if we are to remain as a nation. Other leaders have tried to no
avail and no wonder Nigeria was smuggled into OIC.
The most disturbing thing is the recent comment of the
Chairman of Northern States Governors Forum Gov. Babangida Aliyu of Niger State
on the fact that the bombings in the north is beyond boko haram. Haba! How can
a leader and chief security of a state come out and make such comments? Why is
he sympathetic with boko haram? I challenge Gov Babangida to fish out those he
thinks are the ones doing this to North.
One thing these leaders fail to understand is that the
almajiris they groomed all these while has been the major that escalates the
crisis because, the children were brought up by one mallam up there who doesn't
care how they fared all in the guise of training them in islamic studies.
I ask, can't a child stay in his father's house and learn islamic studies?
These children have no affection, they don't know anything apart from violence
as a result they become prey to those who steal our money and use it to create
crisis in the nation all because their parents under the guise of religion have
relegated their responsibilities as parents. The result is what we are
harvesting in the north today.
The Arewa Consultative Forum ACF recently while condemning
attacks stated that especially as the government is ready to engage in
dialogue. This is a terrorist group for God's sake! You don't negotiate with
terrorists. They don't have to be incited before they strike; they take
pleasure in inflicting terror on innocent citizens who are law abiding and
going about doing their legitimate businesses and killing and maiming people in
their places of worship. The governor of Niger State said that the church bombings
are diversionary. Such a ridiculous conclusion! I ask, Why the churches? It is
when they might have finished with bulldozing all the churches that you will
know that they are playing a script? We are not kids in Nigeria.

DO WE HAVE SERIOUS GOVERNMENT IN NIGERIA?
07034655913
adigaproductions@gmail.com
I have been opportune to travel across the nation these past few days, what my eyes saw could only best lead to the question above. I ask again, "Do we have a serious government in Nigeria? Why this question? It may seem strange however, I must try my best to put some points down and God helping me I will summarize.
From Abuja I went to Niger State and then proceeded to Kwara State, Ilorin to be precise. There is no road at all. It was that bad that 2 trailers almost crush us on the way safe for God's intervention. To think that there are governors in both Niger and Kwara respectively and to crown it all senators who are said to be representing those areas and yet the road is that bad leaves one to wonder if there is really any government. When you hear of so many probes by different committees here and there and after the committee work, you hear nothing anymore implementation becomes a problem of which if there is government, they will respond immediately to ensure that the people enjoy the benefits of democracy. I ask again, "Is there a serious government in Nigeria? The answer is a capital NO. I left Kwara for Benue through the road that goes to Akwanga; that is another story all together. The most pathetic thing is that both the Governors of Nasarawa and Benue states passes through that road to go to Abuja for their subvention even though not often and the number three (3) citizen comes from Benue State to mention a few yet the road looks pathetic for a nation that has been bastardly blessed (if there is any English word like that). You could see that the contract has been awarded but the project looked abandoned and no one is held responsible. As I was passing that road I met a tanker that was carrying fuel; due to the fact that the road was bad, the tanker had lose control and fall off. No shoulder to even park yet, so many so-called government officials are plying that road but nothing could be done about it. I wouldn't say more but, I put a challenge even to the so-called government to prove to us that there is serious government in Nigeria. Your comments would be highly appreciated.
